Here are my usual annual ref stats, as useless as usual, but still interesting for me. The categories seem quite straightforward, apart perhaps from average cards per game. For this one I'm assigning a count of one point for a yellow and three for a red, adding up the total and dividing the number of games refereed by this total in order somehow to work out who is most card happy. There seemed to be a lot less cards given this year but Iida, Ikeuchi, Kasahara and Ueda seem to have not forgotten where they put them. Given our great results this year the points per game stands at a perfect 3 for quite a few refs. Ignoring those who've only reffed one game, I'd say our current favourites should be Araki, Iida, Kimura and Tojo. It will come as no surprise to see that Nishimura is consistently one of the worst refs for us, along with Sato, and Kasahara who just loves to send Taniguchi off. We'll see if he does that again next year.
